libterm-readkey-perl software package provides perl module for simple terminal control, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libterm-readkey-perl
libterm-readkey-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libterm-readkey-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libterm-readkey-perl *
You will get with libterm-readkey-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
